Employer Services
Thank you for considering AVTEC to locate potential candidates for your workforce needs. Please see below a list of ways we can assist you with this process. AVTEC’s career advisor acts as a liaison among AVTEC students, graduates, instructors, staff and employers. If you would like to discuss any of these options, please contact Rachel James at (907) 224-6172 or [email protected].
Post Job Vacancies, Internship or Apprenticeship Opportunities
Job postings, apprenticeship and internship opportunity announcements can be emailed directly to [email protected] to reach graduates and students of specific training programs.
In addition, as a Division of the State of Alaska, Department of Labor & Workforce Development, AVTEC directs students and graduates to utilize AlaskaJobs as part of their job search.
On-Campus Recruitment & Information Sessions
AVTEC welcomes employer presentations. If you are interested in visiting the AVTEC campus to tour training facilities, meet instructors and talk to students about employment opportunities the Career Advisor can assist in coordinating your visit. AVTEC students are in training Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., however, due to various training program schedules and to provide the best use of time on campus, employer visits need to be arranged in advance by contacting (907) 224-6172 or [email protected].
Annual Job Fair
Business and industry representatives from across Alaska are invited to participate in AVTEC’s spring job fair.
