Official Title: Basic Training Revalidation (ALAVTC-718)
U.S. Coast Guard and STCW Approved Class

This course is designed to satisfy the minimum standards of competence in personal survival techniques and fire prevention and fire fighting of Table A-VI/1-1 and Table A-VI/1-2 of the STCW Code, as amended. Students must have one year of sea service in the last five years to qualify for Basic Training revalidation. This course consists of rigorous physical activities which will include fire fighting, and pool session assessments.

May have some evening hours. Bring comfortable clothing to wear under fire fighting turnout gear and swimming attire for the pool session.

Prerequisites
Clean Shaven for basic fire fighting assessments.
