AVTEC has collaborated with Yamaha Motor Corporation U.S.A., Marine Business Unit, to provide instruction for the Outboard Engine Maintenance Certification Program technician training.
Courses
Introduction to Outboard Systems - Training Costs: $1090
Fundamental understanding of the outboard systems and safe work practices in the exploration of all functions of the marine power plants.
Outboard Engine Maintenance – Portable* - Training Costs: $1485
Service and maintenance of marine outboards in the portable range (9.9 Horsepower). See the Core Competencies section below.
*Pre-requisite is Introduction to Outboard Systems
Outboard Engine Maintenance – Midrange* - Training Costs: $1485
Service and maintenance of marine outboards in the mid-range (40-50 Horsepower). See the Core Competencies section below.

Outboard Engine Maintenance – Inline* - Training Costs: $1558
Service and maintenance of marine outboards in the inline range (90-200 Horsepower). See the Core Competencies section below.

Outboard Engine Maintenance - V-Engine* - Training Costs: $1558
Service and maintenance of marine outboards in the V-engine range (250-300 Horsepower). See the Core Competencies section below.
